Authorities have seized a significant shipment of cocaine at the port of Buenaventura, Colombia, destined for the Netherlands. The shipment, valued at over 2 million euros, contained 962 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride concealed within cow hides.
The National Police announced this operation as a major blow to drug trafficking networks utilizing Buenaventura to transport drugs to Europe. The seizure occurred during routine inspections when officers detected a strange odor from a container of bovine skins. A narcotics test confirmed the presence of cocaine.
