In Costa Rica, a 44-year-old man was arrested by the National Directorate of Border Police Services (DNSPF) with assistance from the Special Operations Tactical Group (GOET). He was found in possession of over 40 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride at the Las Crucitas border checkpoint. The arrest was made during a standard operation where officers became suspicious of the vehicle he was driving, specifically a pick-up truck.
The man now faces charges related to the illegal trafficking of drugs.
