In an operation reflecting the ongoing battle against drug trafficking, the Mexican Navy, specifically from the Second Naval Region, executed a significant seizure at the bustling port of Ensenada in Baja California. During a standard security sweep, Navy personnel, in collaboration with the Maritime Customs, scrutinized two containers at the port facility. Within one container, hidden inside seven cardboard boxes, they discovered approximately 300 packages. These packages contained what is preliminarily identified as cocaine hydrochloride, commonly known as cocaine powder. The total weight of the contraband was estimated at around 350 kilograms.
Each package bore the label “Infinito” (Infinity), along with its symbol, a branding that has appeared in previous drug interdictions. While the exact criminal organization behind these packages remains unidentified, the recurring use of such a symbol might suggest an attempt to create a brand identity within the drug trade, potentially for recognition or to signify quality or origin.
