13 Bags, 410 Drug Packages, One Major Bust

The National Police, through its National Directorate of Police Intelligence (DNIP), has made a significant drug seizure at a Pacific port. This operation underscores the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and ensure public safety.

Key Details of the Seizure

During a routine visual inspection of a shipping container, anti-narcotics units discovered a shipment of suspected illicit substances concealed within 13 black bags. Upon further investigation, officials counted 410 rectangular packages, all meticulously wrapped in adhesive tape and orange plastic.

The container, which raised suspicions, originated from the United States and was intended for delivery to the Republic of Sweden. This international aspect of the case highlights the global challenges faced in tackling drug trafficking networks.

Following the discovery, the case has been referred to the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Drug-Related Crimes. This step is crucial for initiating a thorough investigation and pursuing any individuals involved in this illicit activity.
